The Bracknell Bees are delighted to extend a welcome to the Tofoo Co who are coming on board as sponsors for the 2018/19 season. The Tofoo Co are starting a Tofu revolution and we’re delighted they are partnering up with us this season, creating a tasty partnership.
Tofu is a traditional food from Asia but The Tofoo Co is anything but traditional using a combination of ingredients to make Tofoo stand out from the usual Tofu. With a philosophy published on their website “what’s the point in only being as good as everyone else?” this makes theirs and our desire to return the Bees with their successful background makes this an ideal partnership.
Tofu is cultivated by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. Its subtle flavour means it can be used widely in cooking. flavour and can be used in savoury and sweet dishes. It is often seasoned or marinated to suit the dish.
What makes the Tofoo Co stand out is that they use a natural ingredient created from seawater call nigari rather than calcium sulphate used by most other manufacturers giving the Tofoo Co-product its trademark taste and texture.
Bees Director Stuart Robinson commented; “We’re so pleased to welcome Tofoo on board this season. It’s great to be able to attract companies with such a well known national profile, alongside our local partners. Although a new name to the Bees, there are some very familiar and friendly faces behind this deal and we would like to thank the wonderful Paul Newberry for his outstanding support again.”
As with all our Sponsors, we’d ask our Supporters to support them whenever possible. You can visit the Tofoo Co online at https://tofoo.co.uk/
