Karel Richter departs the Bees

The Berkshire Cycles Bracknell Bees Head Coach Doug Sheppard today makes the difficult announcement that the club and Karel Richter have parted company.

Having iced in the Swindon challenge matches Karel will not ice again for the club as Doug Sheppard explained; “This is a very tough decision for me and I have to stress this is nothing personal against Karel, he is a great guy and fitted in well in the room.

I’ve made this decision based on what I feel is best for the club. This gives us three weeks to find and sign a replacement player. The club was handed a four game suspension just last Monday from an incident that happened last season. This means that we will dress only one import for the first four competitive games of the season. Finding this out at such late notice wasn’t part of our plans.

“I’d like to thank Karel for joining us, he’s been unlucky here, and I wish him all the best for the future.”

Karel leaves with the best wishes of all at the Bees.
