Following a 2-0 shut out win in Bracknell earlier in the season the Berkshire Cycles Bracknell Bees headed to Planet Ice Basingstoke for the return fixture.

Stephen Mattews took charge of the local derby with Alex Mettam and Dean Skinns lining up against each other in the nets.
A scoreless first period saw the Bees penalty killing unit tested well but just 43 seconds into the second period Richard Bordowski converted a powerplay carried over from the first period for 1-0. A second powerplay strike, this one by Russel Cowley, at 28.30 turned out to be the game winning goal but Vanya Antonov pulled one back at 34.22. Bees Josh Martin and Bison Liam Morris came together at 36.38 with both getting 5+game for fighting and Morris an additional match penalty for head butting.
Alex Sampford netted for the Bison at 48.08 putting them 3-1 ahead. Doug Sheppard pulled Dean Skinns for the extra outskater with 1.46 to play but Bison held on for the win.

Following a tough night in Basingstoke the opponents got no easier for the Berkshire Cycles Bracknell Bees as they headed to Bretton to face the Peterborough Phantoms.

Aidan Doughty lit the goal lamp first in the tilt as he put Bracknell ahead at 12.35 but Jarvis Hunt levelled at even strength at 13.40 ahead of a powerplay goal from Scott Robson at 18.11 ensuring Phantoms could take the first interval in the lead.
Bees levelled with a powerplay marker from Ryan Watt at 25.05 but Ales Padelek ensured parity lasted less than 30 seconds when he scored Phantoms third at 26.34. Martin Susters then scored two, firstly at 28.02 and then 38.54, the second on the powerplay. Susters first of the night saw Dean Skinns replaced in net with Danny Milton completing the game. A further powerplay goal from Tom Norton with 2.33 to play in the second period gave Phantoms a comfortable 6-2 lead after 40 minutes.
The third period saw the teams trade goals with Nathan Long netting for the home team at 45.34 and Shaun Thompson with a consolation strike at 58.55
