The National Ice Hockey League and Planet Ice are pleased to confirm that ticket sales for the 2019 Final Four weekend in Coventry are going well and have already passed the break-even point.
This means that the event will once again return a surplus which will be shared among the respective NIHL 1 teams.
The Final Four is at the end of a four week long postseason for clubs in Moralee and Britton divisions of the NIHL and features the playoff finalists from north and south facing off to determine a true national champion.
League Manager Gary Dent said: “Once again the supporters of our NIHL clubs have got behind this event and the early ticket sales have been excellent.
“Chris and his staff at Planet Ice have been a great assistance in planning and executing the sale of tickets and they managed the peaks throughout the first week, using their experience of holding this kind of event for many years before.
“This is the second NIHL Final Four in this format and of course with this week’s news it may well change next season. We hope that supporters from as many NIHL sides as possible make the trip to Coventry and join a true carnival atmosphere in and around the rink.”
