The latest piece of the puzzle falls nicely into place as Head Coach of the Berkshire Cycles Bracknell Bees announces the return of Zack Milton.
The 18 year old forward joined the Bees part way through last season, originally as a guest player, but impressed so much that he was brought in to represent the team full time.
Zack learned his hockey on the other side of Berkshire before paying a move to the Hive in 16/17 transferring from Slough Under 18s to Bracknell Drones. Across both clubs he played 12 games racking up 22 points.
In 2017/18 he played both Under 18 and NIHL2 with the Drones and Hornets. An impressive 24 points came from 20 Under 18 games while he recorded a further 3+4 from 22 games in his debut senior season with the Hornets.
Last season was busy for Zack with duties for Under 18s, Under 20s and the Hornets. Bees Head Coach Doug Sheppard kept an eye on Zack and initially invited him to guest for the senior club but on his guest appearances he impressed so much the Bees took him on full time he found the back of the net 11 times while assisting 7 other goals for 18 points from 38 games.
Doug Sheppard commented on his latest re-signing; “Zack got an opportunity last season and made the most of it. He has the potential to be one of the best power forwards in the league. I wouldn’t be surprised if Zach attracts some Elite League attention in the near future.”
Zack stands at 6’0″, weighs 187lbs and shoots left handed.
