The Berkshire Cycles Bracknell Bees have their first confirmed fixtures for the new season with pre-season confirmed.
The Bees will open the season on Saturday September 7th with a road trip to last season’s NIHL1 Britton Conference Champions Swindon Wildcats before returning home to face them on the ice at the Hive the following day.
The rivalry between the two teams was intense last season with competition across the season split until the post-season when Bees knocked Wildcats out the NIHL1 South Play-offs on their way to the South Final.
The following weekend the days switch around as Saturday becomes the home day when the Raiders visit on Saturday September 14th with a trip to Romford scheduled for the following day.
The Raiders were fierce competitors for the Bees last season and ended up 1 table position beneath them in the NIHL1 South.
All three teams have made the move to the new National League for 2019/20 season and will be keen to get their campaigns off to a good start with strong pre-season performances.
These pre-season games will not be part of the season ticket package and tickets will be available to buy at walk up prices as usual.
Head Coach of the Bees, Doug Sheppard spoke of the upcoming pre-season challenges; “We are all excited to start the inaugural National League. This season looks extremely competitive starting with a very strong Swindon team.”
