Bees add Richard Krogh

Bracknell Bees Head Coach Doug Sheppard heads into the weekend by sharing the news he has signed Fleet born Richard Krogh to his 19/20 roster.

The 19 year old forward learned his hockey in Guildford where he posted impressive numbers through his junior teams.

In 2015 he headed to Switzerland and signed for Lugano Under 17s playing in the Swiss Under 17 Elite league. He made 30 appearances posting 7+8 while collecting 32 penalty minutes. He also made his international debut playing 5 times with GB Under 18s. The following season he remained with the club combining Under 17 duties, recording 8+8 and accumulating 100 PiMs, with a single Under 20 appearance.

In 2017 he was back in Guildford with the under 18s but also made 40 appearances for the Flames in the Elite League. He scored his first international points posting 2+2 for the GB Under 18s.

Last season he scored his first domestic senior goal along with 3 assists in 55 Flames games combined with a call up for GB under 20s.

Head Coach Doug Sheppard spoke about his latest signing; “It’s great to pick up a player of Richard’s calibre this late in the summer. I’m really looking forward to seeing what Richard has to offer, playing a different role than he has the past two seasons.

Richard Krogh added his thoughts on signing with the Bees; “I can’t wait to get started with the team and look forward to a great season ahead.

Richard is 5’11” and weighs 176lbs. He shoots right handed.
