Jackson steps up and own and loan update

Head Coach of the TSI World Bracknell Bees has moved to strengthen his team with the full time signing of Luke Jackson. Luke signed to the Bees on a two-way agreement with the Hornets but impressed in training and pre-season last weekend and has been rewarded with a full time Bees contract.

The 20 year old Reading born forward has experience at both Guildford and Bracknell in the UK before two seasons spent in Canada with Ontario Hockey Academy for his final two years of Under 18. His second season in Ontario saw him called up to represent Great Britain Under 18s.

The following season he returned to the UK splitting his time between the Bees, Hornets and Stingers playing NIHL1, NIHL2 and Under 20s.

With a roster slot open and Luke being impressive in training and the opening weekend of pre-season Head Coach Doug Sheppard explains his full time Bees signing; “Luke started to impress in the summer and did a great job in the first two games. Add in his work ethic and I think the time is right for him to step up full time. I’m looking forward to working with him and to continue watching him develop.

Luke is 6’1” tall, weighs 201lbs and shoots right handed.
