Bracknell Bees Community Programme secures Lottery Funding

The TSI World Bracknell Bees Community Programme are delighted to announce they have been successful in enrolling in The Bracknell Forest Lottery.

Bracknell Forest Lottery is a fun and effective way to raise funds for our Programme. All supporters will get the chance to win prizes of up to £25,000 for just £1 per week. Every ticket has a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize every week! That’s better than the National Lottery and the Health Lottery!.

Our Community Programme is an independent body section of The Bracknell Bees, similar to The Bracknell Bees Supporters Club with the primary aim to increase awareness and participation of Ice Hockey in Bracknell. The Community Programme encompasses The Schools Programme, First Shift (part of The Bracknell Bees Academy) and Groups Programme.

Supporters and fans can get involved by the following link which explains all about the Community Programme and how to get involved with the Lottery.

Chair of The Community Programme Dave Williams said “The Bracknell Forest Lottery is a great way for The Programme to raise funds to invest in getting Ice Hockey available to the wider Community. We had a very successful ‘Summer of Fun’ with Andy and Kate joining Coach Sheppard at lots of Summer Fetes. Our First Shift sessions are extremely busy and raising important funds means we can invest in equipment and resources. We hope that a successful track record under the Bracknell Forest Lottery will provide us with evidence to apply for National Lottery Funding.”

The Programme has been overwhelmed by the positive response to The Schools Programme since September 2018 with over 80 Schools signed up across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire, which can be seen in The Schools Zone
