The only goal of the first period came with 3.36 left when Tyler VanKleef netted for the home team.
A powerplay strike from Aaron Nell at 21.40 doubled the lead before Sam Bullas made it 3-1 at 32.51. Dominik Gabaj pulled one back for the Bees at 38.33.
Nell’s second at 42.42 proved to be the only goal of the final period.

The goal fest started early with Caly Robertson being the first to goal 105 seconds into the game. He was followed by Zack Milton at 7.27. The first of the night for Dominik Gabaj was scored on a powerplay at 16.46 and just 9 seconds later James Galazzi skated in unchallenged and made it 4-0. The fifth came up within the first thanks to Josh Ealey-Newman at 18.23.
Leeds changed to their back up goaltender for the second period but it took 3.46 for Ryan Webb to beat him for the Bees sixth of the night. Goals continued regularly with Aidan Doughty next to score at 27.43 followed by Will Stead at 28.42. Gabaj netted his second at 31.04 to finish the middle period scoring at 4-0 and the total at 9-0.
The shut out was finally broken at 47.50 by Lewis Baldwin but the Bees weren’t done yet with goals from Roman Malinik (50.22) and Josh Martin (58.14) completing the 11-1 scoreline.
