The latest signature captured by Head Coach of the TSI World Bracknell Bees is that of forward Caly Robertson who will now wear the black, white and gold.
The 19 year old was born in Kirkaldy Scotland and learned his hockey in the famous Fife junior development programme. He posted good numbers through his development progress and made his debut in the SNL for Kirkaldy Kestrels in 2016/17. From there he received his international call up scoring twice in five games for Great Britain Under 18s.
The following season he split between Edinburgh Capitals in the Elite and Scottish National Leagues together with Murrayfield’s Under 20 team. Again he received Great Britain recognition in 17/18.
For 18/19 he was back “home” with Fife Flyers appearing 41 times in the Elite League and for Kirkaldy Kestrels posting 19 points in 12 games.
He started this season at Milton Keynes Lightning before joining up with the Bees for the remainder of the season.
Head Coach Doug Sheppard spoke of his latest recruit; “I’m delighted to pick up Caly at this point of the season. He’s a young ambitious kid that wants to play hockey at the highest level he can. Caly has a great skill set and will be a good fit in Bracknell.”
Caly stands at 5’9 and weighs 154lbs. He shoots left handed.
